Our Founder/Clinical Director, Cassie Milliken, is a BCBA with well over twelve years of experience working with children who have special needs in multiple settings, managing/directing ABA therapy programs for many clients in different capacities. While she also enjoyed being able to improve the quality of care for insurance members, as a reviewer of ABA treatment plans across the USA, she started to miss working directly with the clients. However, working at certain clinics, she found that the big ABA clinics were not providing ethical and/or effective treatment. BCBAs were over-scheduled with clients who were not making progress but there was nothing she could do about it since she was not the "Big Boss".
While talking with her husband and two school-aged daughters, Cassie decided the best way to positively impact our region's ABA treatment was to pave her own way. She set-out to form her own ethics based ABA treatment center. Providing evidence based, effective, socially valid and medically necessary ABA Treatment to children of all ages (and their families) is her passion. She promotes quality of treatment and you will notice a difference in your child!
As each child has different needs, we offer different services/programs to each child and family. In-Home, community treatment with individualized Skill Assessments, ABA Therapy, Parent Training/Coaching, School/Educational Consulting, Social Skills Training and more! Whether you need a one time-help for potty training, or if you need a more intensive behavior treatment plan, we are here to help you and your family not just function, but thrive!
While we mostly provide ABA treatment to children, ABA can successfully be used on adults as well! We know that insurance/funders often overlook the needs of teenagers and adults with autism, so we are offering affordable social skills groups, adaptive functioning and vocational training for those 18+, with no insurance coverage. Contact us for more information on these programs.
We are skilled in treating children throughout the whole autism spectrum, as well as co-occurring diagnoses (such as PDD-NOS, CP, PANDAS, ADD/ADHD, SPD, chromosome disorders, etc.). In addition, we have worked with clients (both verbal and non-verbal) who engaged in aggressive behaviors (such as throwing desks/chairs, biting, hitting/kicking, etc.), noncompliance (flopping to the floor, refusal to work, eloping, etc.), and multiple other behaviors that commonly occur within ASD.
If you are experiencing a problem behavior, odds are that we have seen and treated it!
We provide effective, ethical ABA treatment. If your child is not motivated and/or progressing, then his/her team needs to change the way they teach.
